No, none. There are no additional software costs. DEXDIA GX works with GripMeter apps which are 100% free.

We offer two apps, both available for iOS and Android, both of which are free.
The GripMeter app is perfect for individuals who just want to track their own grip strength.
For professionals like physical therapists, personal trainers, kinesiologists, and strength coaches, GripMeter Physio allows you to create and manage profiles for multiple clients. This also makes it useful for families or in other group situations.
Also, the data you create with GripMeter is synced with your online account, whereas with GripMeter Physio does not require any online accounts as all the data gets stored locally on your device.

Why does DEXDIA GX use AA batteries?
DEXDIA GX is power efficient enough such that it can be powered with regular 1.5V AA batteries. Many battery-powered electronic devices become unusable simply due to battery degradation while the product itself could last for much longer. By using AA batteries we avoid this issue and help increase the lifespan of the product.
Also, alkaline AA batteries can be easily bought almost anywhere. They pose a significantly smaller fire hazard compared to other battery types and they are made from less dangerous materials which also have a smaller environmental impact.

Can I use rechargeable AA batteries with DEXDIA GX?
Yes, in addition to regular non-rechargable alkaline batteries, you can also use rechargable AA batteries but only the ones with a nominal voltage of 1.5V. For example, some Li-ion AA batteries have a nominal voltage ~3.6V and should not be used. Please note that the battery charge reading is calibrated for regular AA alkaline batteries so the battery charge reading may not be as accurate with other battery types.
How long is the delivery time?
All orders are shipped from Slovenia using DHL. Delivery to the EU is 2-3 business days. Delivery to the U.S. is 2-5 business days. Delivery to most other countries is 3-5 business days. For delivery to countries outside the EU the customer as the importer is responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, taxes or other import related costs. These customs and import procedures may also delay the expected delivery date of your order.
Are there any tariffs for delivery to the United States?
Yes, DEXDIA GX is made in the EU (Slovenia) and is subject to 15% import tariffs.
Please note that the tariff rate and import rules can change quickly and we might not update this answer in time to reflect the current status.
